The Moon is also opposite the planet Mercury which can manifest as an overwhelming amount of mental activity. Insomnia may creep into your picture as well as 'busy' dreams during this time span. It can also bring in a sense of wanting more freedom or daring adventures. Take time out for more rest and to calm your nerves ....it's not the end of the world ! Your life could embark on a new path as opportunities open up. Curb your tongue and bite the sides of it if necessary, as your work load can be demanding now. Keep your cool and it will all work out shortly....don't do anything hasty.
The NEW MOON on January 18th falls in the sign of Capricorn
This new moon will bring a lot of down-to-earth determination into our lives. A challenge can be thrown in your path, so just resolve to tackle it with gusto. You will feel an inner push that will bring everything together for you. Right now a couple of pieces to the puzzle are missing but they will fall into place right after the 18th. You may experience a renewed connection to a higher spiritual vibration of the Universe. It will be interesting to see how your life unfolds. . . .
January is a ONE Month in Numerology
ONE is always a power month and the energy can be very strong. On the positive side you can now take more control of your life. If you're single, take a bold step and ask that certain person out for coffee. This is a good time for an exercise or diet program and this energy gives you an added power to stay focused. ....and how to contact them, since last months' Newsletter briefly touched on that question. . . .
There is always at least one Spirit Guide with each of us throughout our life time on earth. Angels can come in and out or be replaced by another Angel but someone is always there. We are never alone ! You have to ask for their help and then listen closely for the answer....sometimes it may even be 'no' ! They can't always intervene to help us unless we ask, as that would take our 'free will' away....and we are here on the earth plane to learn lessons. Not everyone has a Soulmate here on earth ...yours may be still on the Other Side while you are here....and you will connect later when you cross over. A big attraction can develop between two people who have a karmic connection from a past life that needs to be worked on during this lifetime. Often these relationships will last a long time ... in some cases the karma gets resolved during a shorter span of time, the feelings fizzle out and the people involved may go their own way....or choose to hang in there together anyway, for whatever reason(s).
Talk to your Guides, Angels or departed loved ones mentally, they hear you ! Often the answers come as impressions on your mind, a wispy feeling of a light touch across your face or arm can be letting you know they are there. When you go to bed and it is dark, if you see an dim orb of light around, often this is an Angel.
Meditation is another great way to establish contact....you don't have to sit quietly....ask a question !
Spirit easily picks up your Guide or Angels name but sometimes it is hard to discern which one it is....or if it is a relative from the Other Side coming in to visit you often. They tell me it doesn't really matter as that is not a part of their work. So long as you are aware of their presence and know they are there, is the main thing. Just like any of us here on earth, they do appreciate a 'thank you' for whatever they've helped you with, so please remember this and even thank them every evening before retiring.
Spirit has a Guide named GoodFellow and he will not give any more personal info than that....says it doesn't matter and that's all I need to know !

This Spirit Guide antedote is actually a true story ...though a bit bizarre and extreme, yet very funny:
On occasion, apparently our Guides can make themselves known, whether asked to or not. A man had been a real big hell-raiser throughout his entire life …. drugs, alcohol, con artist, finagler, thievery, jail-time, wild women and etc and etc and etc. One night he stumbled out of a bar and saw a gorgeous woman leaning against his car. Thinking he had really scored big this time, he approached her. She told him that she had been assigned to be his Guide in this lifetime and she’d had it up past her eyebrows with his constant maliciousness and stupid shenanigans. She lost her temper and whacked him all over the place as he hollered and begged her to stop. Finally, he looked up from the ground and she dematerialized right before his eyes. He required emergency medical care that night, but she did make a believer out of him.
He has completely straightened up and turned his life around to this day.
